Rome Free Academy went on the road and beat Jamesville-DeWitt/Christian Brothers Academy 5-3 in hockey league action.
RFA won its first road game of the season against a team that moved up from Division II to Division I this season. The Black Knights are now 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the league.
RFA trailed 1-0 after one period, then scored five of the last seven goals.
Danny Mecca had a goal and an assist, as did Eli Dormio. The other goals were scored by Kyle Lubey, Michael Bostwick and Logan Dorfman. Griffin Eychner had three assists. Aaron Russell had two assists. Kyle Clark and Jared Hussey each had one assist.
The RFA power play was two-for-three, with goals by Lubey and Dormio.
RFA goalie Isaiah Nebush made 26 saves to earn the win.
The Knights will play next at Ontario Bay on Tuesday in another league contest.
